Today is Friday to some people, an above-average day marking the end of the work week and the beginning of a relaxing weekend. However, to many Marvel fans, today isn’t any ordinary day. Today is DEADPOOL 2 DAY! That’s right, the “Merc with a Mouth” returns to theaters in his sure-to-be-hilarious sequel. 
In conjunction with Deadpool’s triumphant return, Monogram has released their third series of Deadpool 3D Foam Figure Keyrings! This blind bagged assortment is available now through Hot Topic HERE priced at $6.90 a pop.

There are nine (9) core characters to collect and two (2) super rare chase figures for fans to find. Each foam figure measures approximately 2-inches tall and includes a sturdy o-ring keychain attachment. The main cast includes: Kidpool, Dogpool, Lady Deadpool, Pandapool, Evil Deadpool, Headpool, Squirrelpool, Deadpool the Duck, and Venompool. Hang on until the end of this review and I’ll reveal the two chase (gotta build the suspense!)

Animal Deadpools rule the roost in this wave, and that’s nothing but a good thing in my book. Of the critterpools, Pandapool is by far my favorite. Love it, just a funny design/concept. These are also pretty common figures to find. Out of the counter display of 24 figures I opened, I received three figures of Squirrelpool, Pandapool and Dogpool.

Lady Deadpool was another common, clocking in at three total figures in the case.

My absolute favorite figures in this wave are Headpool and Venompool. These are some seriously large, chunky foam figures! Aside from having great designs, I love the extra 3D elements on these figures, such as the foam propeller on Headpool’s, err, head and Venompool’s curly tendrils.

Rounding up the core assortment, we have the stitched up Frankenstein monster-like Evil Deadpool and Kidpool clutching two lightsabers (at least I hope they are lightsabers, you can never be too sure with Deadpool).

Last but not lease we come to the rare chase figures which star none other than Deadpool himself! These include Deadpool decked out in what appears to be a Roman Centurion outfit, and a Disco Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth pimpin’ a white suit and gold necklace.

This is a really fun series! Where Monogram’s first two Deadpool assortments gave fans Deadpool, Deadpool and even more Deadpool (because you can nver have enough Deadpool!), Series 3 really shakes things up with Deadpool’s friends and family (and enemies, too). There’s really not a bad figure in the bunch. Out of the case of 24 blind bags I received two complete sets, the couple of spares I mentioned above (animal and Lady Deadpools), and I opened one of each chase.
