MYTHIC LEGIONS: SIEGE AT BJORNGAR PRODUCTION UPDATE!!

Production is moving along on the Mythic Legions: Siege at Bjorngar figures, and we wanted to give everyone who’s pre-ordered these figures an update on the wave.

As you’ve probably seen from Mythic Legions fans who attended last weekend’s spring edition of the 2019 ToyCon NJ, production for ML: SaB characters Thwikk & Faustia has wrapped up and the figures came out even better than we were hoping for. Faustia’s vibrant color combination and the new Goblin head that Thwikk is sporting make these two definite stand-outs amongst the whole Mythic Legions line. Those will be shipping out from our factories with the rest of the Mythic Legions: Siege at Bjorngar wave once everything’s finished.

Which brings us to the Mythic Legions: Ogre-scaled figures… The good news is that we’ve finalized the structure of the new window-box design for the Ogre-scaled Mythic Legions figures, and those – along with updated cardbacks for the standard figures – will feature all new Mythic Legions artwork by the amazingly talented Nate Baertsch! We think you’re all really going to like what Nate’s come up with for the new packaging illustrations.

The not so great news is that we’ve been having issues working out the proper durometer (plastic hardness/softness) for the hands, lower legs, ankles and feet for the Mythic Legions Ogre-scaled figures. The issue with the hands is the they’re so big & beefy that if we use the harder durometer PVC plastic that we normally use on figures, it’s way too hard to get the accessories into and out of their hands. The issues with the lower legs/ankles/feet is that the durometer of plastic the factory used for the first few samples is a little too soft and with the weight of these figures, that’ll cause a real issue with them being able to remain upright. We’ve also gone back into the ankles for the Ogre-scaled figures and added more and deeper detents to the articulation so the ankles pop into position more solidly. We think we’ve finally resolved all of those problems, and we should see new revised samples in the next week or two. Once we review and approve those we can begin full production on the Ogre-scaled figures. Once full production has started, we’ll be able to give everyone a very definitive answer on when the Mythic Legions: Siege at Bjorngar figures will be shipping to us from the factory, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Since we’ve had many requests for them, we will also be offering a VERY limited amount of Mythic Legions: Siege at Bjorngar gray test shots a couple months before the rest of the figures arrive at our warehouse. More details on those later.

Oh, and the Mythic Legions in-stock sale… Info Monday... Plans have changed… Be sure to give your wallet lots of hugs this weekend, because it’s really going to hate you after this one.
