Earlier this week, Hot Toys posted a teaser of six Infinity Stones-colored lights twinkling on a star background. I joked that it would be cool if it was a life-size Infinity Gauntlet prop replica that they were teasing. Well, to my astonishment… it is! With a level of downright jaw-dropping detail that rivals anything we’ve ever seen, the Hot Toys Infinity Gauntlet life-size replica is expected to go up for order this weekend!

When you’re as immersed in toys, statues and collectibles as I am on a day-to-day basis, you don’t get as many “Holy shit!” moments as you used to. But when I woke up this morning and immediately saw photos of the Hot Toys Life-Size Infinity Gauntlet…? Yeah. Holy. Shit.

Hot Toys doesn’t do Marvel movie prop replicas often (in fact, my feeble old brain can’t remember a single one ever), so this definitely comes as a surprise. A very welcome one, mind you, but a surprise nonetheless.

For the first time that I can ever remember, Hot Toys released a video showing off one of their products (which you can see in their Facebook post here). It’s a pretty snazzy trailer, but they already had me with the images.

Nothing in the write-up or video indicates that this life-size Infinity Gauntlet Hot Toys replica is going to be wearable—but at what this thing is going to cost (which we do not yet know), would you really want to be putting your sweaty hands inside of it?

Aside from the action feature of—you know, being life-size—the 68 cm tall Gauntlet will feature two different LED light-up functions (“constantly on” and “breathing” LEDs modes for the six Infinity Stones), as well as multi-layered metallic painting with weathering effects.

To put it simply, this “toy” looks as good (maybe better!) than the actual Infinity Gauntlet from the movie that we’ve seen in promotional materials. You done good, Hot Toys. You done good.

The Hot Toys Life-Size Infinity Gauntlet Replica is expected to go up for order sometime today/tomorrow, although we don’t know exactly when. I’m hoping for an afternoon launch and not a midnight one, because I want this bad boy preordered and locked away (presuming that it is at a cost that I can afford to pay).
