All last week we revealed some of the cool ships, captains, and upgrades coming soon to Star Trek Attack Wing from WizKids Games, and we’re going to keep that going with more exclusive previews throughout this week!  Today we’ve got two new cards to show you, an upgrade each for your Dominion and Romulan fleets.

Only the most ruthless and powerful Jem’Hadar soldiers can rise to the rank of First, and those that do command their ships and subordinates with ruthless efficiency.  For 3 points you can add a Jem’Hadar First crew upgrade to your ship.  In the Combat phase you can trigger the First to convert one Battle Stations roll result into either a blank, evade, or hit!  He gets three time tokens when you do, so plan your strategy carefully.

Finding your big Romulan ships drawing lots of fire?  Consider the new Reinforced Shields upgrade.  Previously Federation ships had access to Reinforced Structural Integrity, the Klingons Reinforced Bulkheads, and the Romulans Reinforced Hull Plating, and now this new 1 point Tech upgrade repairs one Shield every time the ship using it suffers three or more damage in a single attack!  It’s an extremely useful one-per-ship card that can only be mounted on vessels with 5 or more Hull (so Reman Warbird, Valdore class, D’Deridex class).
