Iron Studios brings, in its MiniCo line, Batman and Joker by Tim Burton!

To celebrate the historic production of Batman, the 1989 film, Iron Studios presents in its line of MiniCo figures, the iconics “Batman and The Joker – Batman 89 – MiniCo”, in Toy Art format, with the Dark Knight in his unmistakable black costume, with a texture emulating leather and rubber and its classic symbol on the chest wrapped in yellow ellipse, and Prince Clown of Crime wearing his elegant and peculiar purple suit, adorned with a hat and leaning on his cane. The smiling villain poses mocking his rival next to a gargoyle. Batman and The Joker are on a base simulating the concrete eaves of Gotham Cathedral in reference to the decisive confrontation of the antagonists in Tim Burton’s film.

Despite a great controversy among the fans, who did not approve his choice for the role initially, the actor Michael Keaton gave an emotional depth to the character as much as Batman, as well as his alter ego Bruce Wayne, being chosen until today in several researches as one of the three best actors who ever played the Dark Knight. Also being played by the legendary actor Jack Nicholson, Batman’s biggest enemy, known as The Joker, won one of his most masterful interpretations, hailed by many as the most faithful version of the villain compared to the comics, despite subtle changes in its origins. Nicholson’s peculiar ability to express madness in his most striking interpretations, fit the insane Prince Clown of Crime. With a masterful soundtrack created by Danny Elfman, the film influenced Hollywood in many ways, such as creating, developing and presenting a new genre of superhero films.

Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in 1939, Bruce Wayne is a businessman, playboy and billionaire philanthropist, who, in witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, as an adult began to travel the world, trying to understand criminal minds. He trained all kinds of martial arts and combat techniques, seeking physical and intellectual perfection. He created a uniform based on something that frightened him as a child, bats, and so he started to fight crime. Joker is one of the greatest villains in comics, and Batman’s greatest archenemy. Called the “Prince Clown of Crime”, it was created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson, inspired by actor Conrad Veidt in the 1928 film “The Man Who Laughs” and a playing card.
