Welcome New AFi Sponsor: @MegalopolisToys !

This week we are happy to announce that Megalopolis Toys is the newest sponsor here at AFi.  Even before we started the discussion about sponsorship I was already a customer of Megalopolis.  Their daily deals and “white glove treatment” for all of their orders made me a fan!   They really pull out all the stops to make sure each customer has a great experience from the EXCELLENT packing of each item, to sending you a picture of your order after it has been packed along with your tracking information, to the “freebees” that they throw in each box featuring their hooded mascot the Toy Overlord.   Also they have a Mega Rewards program that gives you points from each purchase that you are redeem for money off of future purchases!

They have a great selection and they are ready to help you find exactly what you are looking for! Check them out at https://megalopolis.toys/ and tell them AFi sent you!  Order by December 18th for Christmas delivery!

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Megalopolis was founded in 2014 and relaunched under new management in 2018. It is currently operated by brothers Ben and Matt Westover, who collectively have almost 30 years of experience in the toy business (and even longer as collectors).
The brothers aim to make Megalopolis the premier destination for collectors of all properties through an amazing and diversified selection of both domestic and import toys, a loyalty program that offers collectors free product and tremendous other value, & its brand–which takes great care to integrate seamlessly with the collector lifestyle.
Megalopolis is based in South Salt Lake, UT–where its distribution center is located, and where it has recently opened it’s deluxe retail doors to the public.

THE TOY OVERLORD

The Toy Overlord is, foremost, the mascot of Megalopolis. He adorns the company logo and imagery. He sees himself as far more, however, and his far-reaching aims include complete control of the City of Collectibles, widespread celebrity, and to be loved by all. He would be a supervillain, but he lacks the wherewithal to actually carry out any of his evil schemes.
He’s also completely insecure, unsure of himself, and never able to settle on any single personality. More than anything, the Toy Overlord is…narcissistic. All his deeds stem from a need to be loved. He does plenty of good for customers though, as a result. The Mega Rewards Loyalty Program is his creation, and each iteration of the newsletter, which is loaded with deals and value, is penned by him.
