THE CASTS AND PRODUCERS OF AMC’S ORIGINAL SERIES FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, NOS4A2, INTO THE BADLANDS AND A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES INVADE WONDERCON 2019

 

WHAT:          The cast and producers of AMC’s original series hit series Fear the Walking Dead, new supernatural horror series NOS4A2, martial arts drama Into the Badlands and spell-casting thriller A Discovery of Witches will present several screenings and panels at this year’s WonderCon in Anaheim, CA.

 

WHO:             Fear the Walking Dead panelists include cast members Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson and new cast member Austin Amelio along with Executive Producers and Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, Executive Producer Scott M. Gimple and Director Michael Satrazemis. The panel will be moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown.

 

NOS4A2 panelists include cast members Ashleigh Cummings, Zachary Quinto, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jahkara Smith along with Executive Producer, Showrunner and Writer Jami O’Brien and Executive Producer and author Joe Hill. The panel will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s senior writer Clark Collis.

 

Into the Badlands panelists include cast members Daniel Wu, Ally Ioannides, Lewis Tan, Sherman Augustus, Aramis Knight and Orla Brady along with Executive Producers and Showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar. The panel will be moderated by CNN contributor and cohost of the They Call Us Bruce podcast, Jeff Yang.

 

A Discovery of Witches will be a screening of the first episode of the brand-new series that first debuted on Sundance Now and Shudder, breaking viewership records on both platforms. Link to the newest trailer can be found here.

About Into the Badlands

The final episodes premiere Sunday, March 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT following a new episode of The Walking Dead.  The series will then move to its regular timeslot with a new episode on Monday, March 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT.

 

As we enter the final chapter of Into the Badlands, an imprisoned Bajie warns Sunny that Pilgrim can’t be trusted. But with his son’s life on the line, Sunny struggles with his decision to help Pilgrim unlock the Meridian Chamber. Meanwhile, M.K., still reeling from the revelation that Sunny killed his mother, is hell-bent on revenge. Kidnapped by The Master, the Widow is forced to confront her past. Moon meanwhile races to save Lydia from impending death after she risked her life for his on the battlefield. As the last episodes unfold long buried secrets will be revealed, new alliances will be forged, and the saga will climax in an epic battle to end all battles.

 

From AMC Studios, Into the Badlands was created by executive producers, showrunners and writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and is executive produced by Oscar®-nominated producers Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg, along with David Dobkin, Stephen Fung, Michael Taylor, Karen Richards, Paco Cabezas and series lead Daniel Wu.

 

The ensemble cast includes Wu (Sunny), Nick Frost (Bajie), Aramis Knight (M.K.), Emily Beecham (The Widow), Orla Brady (Lydia), Ally Ioannides (Tilda), Lorraine Toussaint (Cressida), Sherman Augustus (Moon), Babou Ceesay (Pilgrim), Ella-Rae Smith (Nix) and Lewis Tan (Gaius).

 

About NOS4A2

Premieres Summer 2019

 

Based on the 2013 novel by Joe Hill, NOS4A2 introduces Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – a twisted place of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims – without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.

NOS4A2 is produced by AMC Studios in association with Tornante Television. Jami O’Brien (Fear the Walking Dead, Hell on Wheels) created the show for television and will serve as showrunner and executive producer along with executive producers Hill and Lauren Corrao, Co-President of Tornante Television.

Additional cast includes Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Bing Partridge, Virginia Kull  as Linda McQueen, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Chris McQueen and Jahkara Smith (aka Sailor J) as Maggie Leigh.
