Kotobukiya is teaming up with artists across the globe for their unique take on renown pop culture characters. Called the ARTFX Artist Series, the first artist to participate in this collaborative new project is Kamome Shirahama who is known worldwide for her Marvel comics cover art!

For her contribution, Kamome Shirahama presents her vision of Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The statue is based off of Shirahama’s original artwork titled “Descendant of Light” and a print of it will be included with this figure. 

The ARTFX Artist Series Rey “Descendant of Light” statue will be released in April 2020. Keep your eyes peeled for more to come in Kotobukiya’s ARTFX Artist Series!
