Now you can master the Mystic Arts and travel the world in style with your very own Sling Ring! Introduced in Marvel’s Doctor Strange and seen in action in the final two Avengers’ movies (Infinity War and Endgame), Sling Rings are small two-finger rings imbued with the power to sustain dimensional portals between any two points on the planet. Basically a Sling Ring is a teleportation device, that also happens to make a killer fashion accessory… and an even cooler-looking prop replica.

Produced by SalesOne and sold by online retailer Toynk.com, this officially licensed Sling Ring prop replica is branded to tie-in with Avengers: Endgame. To  hammer home that this is the real deal, a shiny gold-foiled Certificate of Authenticity card is included.

The slick presentation for the Sling Ring continues to impress with the box it comes in. A sturdy clameshell design, the black box features Marvel branding on the back and a gold-foil graphic of Doctor Strange’s Eye of Agamotto on the front. It’s a smart re-use of the package used for Toynk Avengers: Endgame Eye of Agamotto prop replica necklace (read my review of the original Eye of Agamotto HERE) and a quality box fans will surely want to keep around for future storage or display.

The first thing you’ll notice when removing the Sling Ring (secured in the box by two black twisty ties) is its incredible weight. Like many of Toynk/SaleOne’s fine prop replicas, the Sling Ring is cast in a very dense and very heavy brass-colored metal. That kind of solid construction screams quality collectible, making it feel like you got your money’s worth. 

Another indication that you have yourself a quality collectible is the Sling Ring’s authentic, intricate design. Depicting the Sling Ring worn by Doctor Strange, this replica makes an amazing companion piece to Toynk’s Eye of Agamotto prop replica necklace on display. Cast in 1:1 scale, the Sling Ring measures 5 x 2 x 1 inches.

Wearing this Sling Ring prop replica for cosplay, however, all depends on how large your hands are. I wear a 12.5 (21.8mm) ring. The Sling Ring prop replica has two holes, one about 10.5 (20.2mm) and the other 11.5 (21mm). As you can see, I can’t get the thing past  my knuckles. My wife, on the other hand, can slip it on with ease. Confirmation that she is the Sorcerer Supreme!

The good news is that if you’re looking for a Sling Ring to just cosplay with, Toynk does sell a different version that features adjustable finger loops.
