To help share this exciting new project with you, FOCO sent along one of each bobblehead style representing my home team, the Washington Nationals.

Packaging is a durable closed window box. The back is  adorned with black and grey Game of Thrones iconography, the sides feature the iconic Iron Throne, and the front features a full panel sticker that depicts the bobble inside. The choice for a sticker was obviously made because FOCO is dealing with 30 MLB teams and three different bobblehead styles. The amount of custom printing involved there would be mind-boggling. Also on the front: an official MLB hologram ensuring your bobblehead is the real deal.

Of the three MLB x GOT bobblehead styles, I’m betting money that Viserion the Ice Dragon is the most popular. This is a seriously huge, hefty polyresin piece  – well worth the $60 price tag in size and material alone. Standing over 7 inches tall and featuring a 7 inch wingspan, Viserion impresses with a cool dragon sculpt.

The MLB customization on the Ice Dragon bobble includes having your favorite team’s logo carved in raised, translucent “ice” on the base. The clear resin used here creates a really nice effect. I’d like to see an entire bobble cast in the stuff. Anywho, the Ice Dragon bobble finds a nice balance between Game of Thrones and MLB fandom. It’s certainly geared more on the GOT side, with the MLB team logo being subtle, but effective.

That awesome “ice” base returns with the Ice King! This 8-inch tall piece depicts the undead villain armed with a… baseball bat! The Ice King certainly ups the MLB fandom level, allowing collectors to show off their team spirit on the baseball bat, a banner AND with a custom “ice” base team logo. 

Oh, I almost forgot the Ice King’s “pet” dragon! Chained down to the 5″ x 5″ ice base, this mini representation of Viscerion adds a whole new visual element to appreciate. For $45, the Ice King bobble definitely offers the most bang for your buck.

For the ultimate MLB sports fan, the Iron Throne bobblehead is for you. This 8-inch tall meaty piece screams baseball fandom with the ability to choose your favorite MLB stars and mascots (with baseball bat sword!) sitting upon a detailed recreation of the iconic Iron Throne.  You also get a team logo banner and an attached nameplate! Not a bad deal for $60. And while we all love our sports stars, I highly recommend picking the mascot for this bobble style. There’s something SO surreal about seeing Screech sitting on the Iron Throne. It makes me smile every time I look at it.
