Until we get that long-awaited live-action movie (fingers still crossed!), Robotech collectibles will remain rather niche. Sure, Toynami has tons of love for the property and has given us many great items over the years. However, in the grand scheme of things,  good Robotech toys have been few and far between in recent years.

Prime 1 Studios, best known for their towering Transformers and superhero statues, is branching out to take on the classic sci-fi anime. In partnership with Harmony Gold, Prime 1 presents the VF-1J Officer’s Veritech Guardian Mode statue from Robotech Saga. Standing an impressive 33 inches tall, the Veritech can be equipped with or without a FAST Pack space booster and weaponry system.

Of course something this large and awesome doesn’t come cheap. Available for pre-order through Sideshow Collectibles this collectible Robotech centerpiece is priced at $1,499 and limited to only 1000 pieces. For those on the fence, a payment plan is available for as little as $163 a month.
