Big news at Chronicle Collectibles’ NYCC booth was the acquisition of the new Hellboy movie license. Shown were two upcoming replicas: a 1:1 scale prop of Hellboy’s Right Hand of Doom and a 1:1 scale replica of his Samaritan firearm. Chronicle is waiting for details on how the pistol breaks for reload to incorporate that feature into their replica. They’re also not sure how to get around shipping on this piece as most foreign countries frown upon real looking firearms. A orange insert may have to be used to get by this unfortunate law.

Other new pieces on display included two statues from Jurassic Park: a 1:9 scale Rotunda T-Rex and a hilarious 1:4 scale statue of a reclined and wounded Ian Malcolm (played by Jeff Goldblum in the film).
