New Pop Culture Convention, Big Easy Con, headed to New Orleans – June 1-2, 2019

NEW ORLEANS, LA | October 16, 2018 – From the creators behind Awesome Con and Rose City Comic Con, Big Easy Con, New Orleans’ newest pop culture convention is headed to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, June 1-2, 2019. Tickets are available at www.bigeasycon.com/tickets/ and range from $30-35 for single day passes, full Weekend passes for $55, and fast passes enabling exclusive opportunities, early access, and more for $149.

Combining the excitement of the French Quarter with the passion and community of fandom, Big Easy Con will feature stars from television and movies, the biggest names in the comic industry, cosplay superstars, unique exhibits and vendors, and family-friendly programming in 300,000+ square feet of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Guests already announced to appear include Brent Spiner and Marina Sirtis from Star Trek: The Next Generation; and Comic Guests Chrissie Zullo, Christopher Uminga, David Walker, and Jeff Parker.

“After spending part of my youth in Leesville, LA, I’m very excited to bring our newest event to a place I consider a second home, New Orleans,” says Ron Brister, Vice President of Comics at LeftField Media. “If you aren’t familiar with our events, we put on some of the best shows in the nation with a focus on community, family, and fun, all while being professionally curated to ensure we are providing our fans with the best possible experience.”

Fans and families alike are welcome at Big Easy Con and can visit the dedicated kid’s area on the show floor with kid-focused vendors and programming. At Big Easy Jr., Powered by the Toy Association, families can expect a variety of hands-on play experiences, meet & greet opportunities with their favorite characters and an entire stage dedicated to kids programming all weekend.

Tickets for Big Easy Con at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (900 Convention Center Blvd) on June 1-2, 2019 are now available at www.bigeasycon.com/tickets/, with any orders by April 5, 2019 shipped directly to fans. A limited quantity of First Generation Badges with special pricing and an exclusive First Generation lanyard are available for a limited time, while supplies last.
