Out this month, here’s a look at a new limited-edition series of Hero Collector figurines – Batman Decades.
Celebrating 80 years of the Dark Knight, these 1:16-scale polyresin figurines recreate the most significant and memorable appearances of Batman from each decade of his comic-book history. Each of the eight figurine comes with a 12-page magazine looking at the character’s history.
Part 1 features the 1940s Batman, inspired by his earliest appearance, in 1937’s Detective Comics #27, created by Bob Kane, with Bill Finger.
Part 2 features the 1950s Golden Age Batman, based on the version illustrated by Sheldon Moldoff.
Part 3 features the 1960s Batman, based on his Silver Age costume redesign by Carmine Infantino in Detective Comics #341 (1965).
Part 4 features the 1970s Bronze Age Batman, as imagined by Neal Adams in 1973’s Batman #251 and later.
