Nendoroid Miles Morales Spider-Man Figure DX Up for PO!

Another week, another company getting in on some of that sweet, sweet Miles Morales merch money! Up until now, Good Smile Company has had their Marvel Nendoroids focus squarely on characters with their own live-action movies—but the success of Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse was too monumental to ignore, and the Nendoroid Miles Morales Spider-Man figure is now up for order! The DX version comes with loads of accessories including a whole second body—but is this 4” figure worthy of his $80+ MSRP?

Nendoroid DX Miles Morales Spider-Man FigureWhen it comes to slightly poseable, mostly hollow little plastic figurines that cost quite a bit of money, Good Smile Company Nendoroids have the market cornered. While they’re generally only 4” tall and have only a few moving parts, your average Nendoroid will set you back $40-$60. These babies ain’t cheap!

But despite the fact that they’re luxury super-deformed plastic figures, GSC Nendoroid fandom is enormous because they’re just so dang cute. And even with an ~$80 price-point, the DX Miles Morales Nendoroid is so much fun that I feel like I just gotta have him!

DX Nendoroid Miles Morales Figure and AccessoriesWhile there’s a standard version of Nendo Miles Morales available for about 25 bucks less, the DX Ver. is definitely the way to go for Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse fans, as you get a whole extra hoodie-wearing body—meaning that you’re getting two full figures for only a bit more with the DX version.

Miles Morales DX Nendoroid Figure with Hoodie and Sneakers

While I’ve always liked Miles’ traditional black and red costume, I love the look of the hoodie, shorts and sneakers over the Spider-Man costume as seen in the animated movie. And in super-deformed Nendoroid form, the hoodie-wearing Spidey look is just too cute for words. Love this.

There’s a separate hood piece so you can have Miles hanging out with the hood up or down—or if you prefer, he can just go au naturale and forgo having any mask or hood completely.

Spiderman Into the Spider-Verse Nendoroid Miles Morales Unmasked Figure

I’m not sure that GSC captured Miles’ hair just right, but the face and smile are definitely good enough resemblances. And I dig being able to have the Spider-Man mask either partially on Miles’ head or held into his hand as options.

Good Smile Company Miles Morales Nendoroid DX Spider-ManAlong with the whole extra body, you also get seven interchangeable hands, a web line effects piece and a posing pile for sticking Miles into whatever dynamic poses his little Nendoroid body will allow. It’s a solid load-out with pretty much everything I would want.

The only real question is whether it’s worth 80 to 85 bucks. And that’s a really hard one to answer. This isn’t a super-articulated SH Figuarts or even Marvel Legends action figure—it’s a luxury SD figurine. It’s a darling little toy with a multitude of display options, but it’s also quite pricey for what it is.

The Goodsmile Company Miles Morales DX Nendoroid is now up for order, and is scheduled to arrive in spring 2020 (on or around March). I don’t buy many Nendos, but this is one I will fork out for personally. YMMV.

What do you think, Marvel collectors? Is it worth laying down the cost of 4 Hasbro Legends figures for this import Nendoroid Miles Morales? Have you purchased any other Marvel Nendoroids, and if so, are you satisfied with them?
