The Cyborg Ninja is introduced in the PlayStation 1 video game Metal Gear Solid, initially as a boss character. However, as the game progresses, it is revealed that he is Gray Fox, a former ally of Solid Snake originally introduced in the original Metal Gear video game. The Cyborg Ninja disappears after his encounter with Snake, but secretly offers advice under the code name Deepthroat.
