Following the closure of the chain in the U.S., the Canadian division was sold to FairFax Financial Holdings in April of 2018. Toys “R” Us Canada is now 100% Canadian owned and operated, and employs over 4,000 Canadians. The company would like its consumers to know that they are here to stay, here to play.
