Golden Apple Celebrates 40th Anniversary Extravaganza on December 14

The most famous comic shop is turning 40 and everyone is invited to the party!

Los Angeles, CA — This year marks the 40th anniversary of Golden Apple Comics, the iconic, industry famous comic book retailer on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. Golden Apple will be hosting its 40th anniversary extravaganza event on Saturday, December 14, 2019 all day long. As a huge thank you to their amazing customers, festivities will include a special throwback sale with 1979 prices, a raffle giveaway and a gala party! All are invited to celebrate four decades of awesome with the Liebowitz family, fellow customers, comic industry pro’s, current and former employees.

11am to 2pm: Special 1979 Throwback Sale. All New comics priced at $3.99 or less are only 40 CENTS EACH! Limit 1 of each title and issue per person during this special 3-hour sale.
2pm to 3pm: Raffle Extravaganza. Collect raffle tickets from now through 2pm on December 14th. One raffle ticket for every $25 spent in-store only at Golden Apple. Must be present on 12/14 between 2-3pm to win. After the raffle, trade in all non-winning tickets for extra discounts, select items, store merchandise & more!!
3pm to 7pm: Gala Party. Celebrate four decades of awesome with us! Admission is FREE! Food, drinks, music, cake, surprise guests and more!
