It’s been an agonizing (and okay, a little bit annoying) wait, but the shoe has finally dropped today and toy companies can talk about their Avengers Infinity War movie toys at long last! And one company that certainly been waiting to show off their wares is Funko, who has over a dozen and a half new figures to reveal—and that’s just their POPs! The Funko POP Infinity War figures—including Hulkbuster Iron Man 2.0—are now up for order!

Various photos and images of the Infinity War POP Vinyls Figures have been popping up (no pun intended) for a while now, but today Funko was finally able to officially show us their newest movie figures in glorious hi-res!

There’s 19 total figures in the first series, including exclusives, which I believe might be the record for a first wave of Marvel movie POPs. Craziness, right?

The breakdown for the Funko Avengers Infinity War POP Vinyls first wave is as follows:

• Iron Spider Spider-Man
• Captain America
• Iron Man
• Thor
• Black Widow
• Groot Holding Gun
• Ebony Maw
• Proxima Midnight
• Corvus Glaive
• Thanos
• 6” Hulkbuster Iron Man [2.0]

And oh yeah, Funko is the King of Exclusives, after all, so here’s the first batch of exclusive POP Infinity War figures:

• 10” Thanos (Target Exclusive)
• Cull Obsidian (Walgreens Exclusive)
• Unmasked Iron Spider (Box Lunch Exclusive)
• Vision (Hot Topic Exclusive)
• Thanos in Attack Pose (Walmart Exclusive)
• Groot holding Screen (Toys R Us Exclusive)
• Unmasked Iron Man (FYE Exclusive)
• Glow-in-the-Dark Thor (ASIA Exclusive)

It’s unusual to see unique, seemingly important characters like Cull Obsidian and the Vision as retailer exclusives. Hot Topic exclusives tend to be not too tough to get, but Walgreens exclusives are a real pain for many collectors.

The one figure in this announcement that really surprised me was the new Infinity War Hulkbuster Iron Man 2.0 armor! I wasn’t sure if there was enough time with reference materials for Funko to get this armor done, but clearly there was.

I think it would have been nice if the Hulkbuster was the final Marvel Collector Corps Box Exclusive through the mail (sort of like coming full circle, you know?), but I can see the appeal and high sales potential of this figure at mass retail.

Conspicuous by their absences are Hulk, Hawkeye, the Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Nebula, and various other characters.

If your favorite character (that’s appearing in the Infinity War movie) isn’t represented here in Funko POP Vinyl form, I wouldn’t worry too much (or at all). This is Funko we’re talking about here, so it’s a dead certainty that we’ll see Infinity War Wave 2 POPs. I don’t know if Funko will get to every character, but I bet they’ll cover most (eventually).

The non-exclusive Avengers Infinity War Funko POP Vinyl Figures are now up for order, and may be ready to start shipping out as soon as the official street date of 3/3/2018!
