In Friday The 13th Part 3, once Jason is defeated, Chris Higgins, the final girl from the movie, having finally escaped Jason on a boat on Crystal Lake. There, she  has a dream where she hallucinates being chased by a still alive Jason Voorhees, looking to exact his revenge. As she tries to escape on the boat, the decomposing corpse of Pamela Voorhees leaps from the water and pulls her into Crystal Lake.
