Move over Darth Maul, Dark Rey is in the house. BigBadToyStore.com has opened pre-orders for one of the most unique lightsabers to be seen in the Star Wars saga: Rey’s “Dark Side” Lightsaber.

Produced by EFX, this authentic replica is machined out of solid aluminum with all metal details pieces. Like the lightsaber glimpsed in the teaser video above, this replica features a hinge mechanism allowing the the prop to unfold into a double-bladed weapon of Jedi-destruction. It comes complete with a hardwood display base. 

Limited edition of 750 pieces, Rey’s “Dark Side” Lightsaber is priced at $1,599.99 and is slated for release 1st quarter 2020.

How this lightsaber is used in the new movie – Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – is anyone’s guess, but there is no denying it sure looks cool.
