@Cryptozoic Will Offer Exclusive Collectibles, Trading Cards, and Games at WonderCon Anaheim 2019

Exclusive DC Lil Bombshells and CryptkinsTM Vinyl Figures, Rick and Morty Metallic Trading Cards, and CZXTM and Steven Universe Promo Cards at Booth #1337

Lake Forest, CA — March 20, 2019 — Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of tabletop games, trading cards, and physical and digital collectibles, today announced that it will sell products in all categories and offer numerous exclusives at WonderCon Anaheim, March 29-31 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The annual show brings together exhibitors, retailers, and fans in a celebration of comic books, films, TV, and other forms of popular culture.

At Booth #1337, Cryptozoic will sell four exclusive vinyl figures from popular lines like DC Bombshells, CryptkinsTM, and DC TeekeezTM: Golden Goddess Classic Harley Quinn, Blackfire, Pestilence, and Flashpoint Batman. The company will also unveil its CZXTM super premium products for the first time anywhere with Promo Cards for two upcoming trading card sets—CZX Outlander and CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains—and the soon-to-be-released CZX Wonder Woman: Princess of Wonder Woman Statue. In addition, Cryptozoic will offer exclusive Rick and Morty Trading Cards Season 2: Metallic Cards and a Promo Card for its upcoming Steven Universe Trading Cards set. Finally, attendees can preview two forthcoming games that use Cryptozoic’s new Gryphon card game engine: Challenge of the Superfriends Card Game and Rick and Morty: Looks Who’s Purging Now Card Game.

“Cryptozoic calls Orange County home, so we’re always extra motivated to make WonderCon a special event for fans, and this year we’ve taken it to a new level,” said John Sepenuk, CEO of Cryptozoic. “Our booth will have an incredible array of exclusive collectible and trading card products, as well as our amazing library of currently available and upcoming games. As a special treat for those who attend, we’ll be sharing the first glimpse of our CZX super premium products.”

Cryptozoic’s exclusive figures will all be made available via online presales before WonderCon. Those who buy the figures that way will be able to pick them up at the booth. Everyone else at the show can purchase these collectibles while supplies last. The limited figures are:

Golden Goddess Classic Harley Quinn: This is a variant of the regular 7-inch vinyl figure that pays tribute to Harley’s origins by depicting her in her classic jester costume. Like the previous releases in Cryptozoic’s popular Golden Goddess series, it sports a stunning gold-and-white design inspired by classical Greek sculpture. The figure comes packaged in Cryptozoic’s signature window box, each of which is individually numbered from 1 to 250. It will sell for $40.

Blackfire (DC Lil Bombshells: Series 3): This is a variant of the Starfire vinyl figure from Cryptozoic’s retro-style DC Lil Bombshells: Series 3 line, which showcases DC’s favorite female characters (and a few male ones). This figure features a black hat, purple hair, pink eyes, and a dark costume to differentiate the evil Blackfire from her heroic sister, Starfire. Each figure is individually numbered (from 1 to 300) on the bottom and includes Blackfire’s logo on the base. The 2.75-inch collectible comes packaged in Cryptozoic’s signature, collectible tin with a foil sticker marking it as a “WonderCon exclusive.” Each figure will sell for $25.

Pestilence (CryptkinsTM: Series 2): This is a variant of the Pegasus Cryptkins: Series 2 vinyl figure, part of Cryptozoic’s original IP featuring creatures that have long been the subject of folklore and tabloid headlines. This figure is the first from the Four Cryptkins of the Apocalypse variant series, which features characters that seem, at first glance, to be harbingers of doom. It sports green paint, spots, and other markings of disease. The 2.25-inch collectible comes packaged in a miniature crate with a foil sticker marking it as “Exclusive Species.” Only 300 figures exist, with each selling for $15.

Flashpoint Batman (DC TeekeezTM): This is a variant of the Batman DC Teekeez vinyl figure, part of Cryptozoic’s collectibles line that is inspired by tiki culture and features iconic DC characters. This version of the figure is painted gray with red accents as a nod to the Batman in DC’s Flashpoint comic storyline, in which Thomas Wayne becomes the Caped Crusader instead of his son Bruce. The 2.625-inch collectible has a distinctive wood-carved aesthetic and comes packaged in Cryptozoic’s signature window box with a foil sticker marking it as a WonderCon exclusive. Like all DC Teekeez, it is stackable. Only 300 figures have been produced, with each selling for $15.

In addition, Cryptozoic will sell exclusive cards from its latest Rick and Morty trading card set:

Rick and Morty Trading Cards Season 2: Metallic Cards: These cards are designed to look like business cards belonging to characters featured in Cryptozoic’s latest Rick and Morty trading card set. The three WonderCon-exclusive cards are Morty Smith (M7), the President of the United States (M8), and Unity (M9). Only 250 of each one were produced. Printed on high quality metal, each limited edition card retails for $10.

Fans can also collect Promo Cards for several upcoming products: the super premium CZX trading card sets CZX Outlander and CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains (both P1), the high-end CZX Wonder Woman: Princess of Themyscira Statue (AW1), and Steven Universe Trading Cards (P5).

Finally, Cryptozoic will preview two new games that utilize its brand new Gryphon Engine and will be available in April:
Gryphon Engine
Challenge of the Superfriends Card Game: Based on the classic TV series, this game uses Cryptozoic’s new Gryphon card game engine for fast-paced, easy-to-learn gameplay for 2-4 players. Taking on the roles of Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Batman and Robin, all players simultaneously reveal their Power Cards to call forth allies or Super Powers that can change the course of the battle against the Legion of Doom.

Rick and Morty: Look Who’s Purging Now Card Game: Based on the popular episode of the TV show, this game utilizes Cryptozoic’s new Gryphon card game engine to deliver gameplay that unfolds at lightning speed and is easy to learn. It features simultaneous play, as 2 to 4 players become Rick, Morty, and others and play their Weapon Cards at the same time to rack up kills during the annual Festival.
