Cryptozoic Reveals Emerald City Comic Con 2019 Exclusives

Cryptozoic Entertainment announces that it will sell products in all categories and offer several exclusives at Emerald City Comic Con, March 14-17 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. The annual convention brings together creators of comics and other media with fans in a celebration of popular culture and fandom. Cryptozoic can be found at Booth #1233.

“This is our first time at Emerald City Comic Con, so we’re ready to make a big splash with exclusive and new products.” said Jamie Kiskis, VP of Marketing & Product Development at Cryptozoic. “We can’t wait to meet the fans in the Seattle area and show them all the great figures, trading cards, and games we have to offer.”

Cryptozoic’s exclusive and limited figures were made available via online presales before the show. Those who bought the figures that way will be able to pick them up at the booth. Everyone else at the show can purchase these collectibles while supplies last. The figures are:

Classic Mera (DC Bombshells: Series 3)

This Cryptozoic-exclusive variant of the regular DC Bombshells: Series 3 figure features a costume inspired by the classic colors of Aquaman, Mera’s love interest in comics and the recent movie. Designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Anders Ehrenborg, the 7-inch collectible comes packaged in Cryptozoic’s signature window box and will be offered for $30. After premiering at Emerald City Comic Con 2019, the figure will be made available for sale on the Cryptozoic eStore and will also be sold at future events while supplies last.

Treasure Kraken (Cryptkins: Series 2)

This is an ECCC-exclusive variant of the regular Cryptkins: Series 2 vinyl figure, part of Cryptozoic’s original IP featuring creatures that have long been the subject of folklore and tabloid headlines. This figure sports a color scheme inspired by the green hue of treasure that has oxidized in the ocean. The 2.25-inch collectible comes packaged in a miniature crate with a foil sticker marking it as “Exclusive Species.” Only 300 figures have been produced, with each selling for $15.

Cryptozoic will also be offering  Outlander Trading Cards: Convention-Exclusive Graded Cards, featuring cards that have been authenticated and graded for quality by PSA, and ECC-exclusive Rick and Morty Trading Cards Season 2: Metallic Cards. Fans can also look forward to previews of two forthcoming titles that use Cryptozoic’s new Gryphon card game engine: Challenge of the Superfriends Card Game and Rick and Morty: Looks Who’s Purging Now Card Game.
