This week, Batman: Arkham Asylum celebrates its 10th anniversary! The ground-breaking video game, and it sequels, have been some of the most celebrated comic book inspired video games of all time. Unlike many comic book games, Batman: Arkham Asylum didn’t follow any established comic arc, or film. The outstanding visuals, and excellent character designs took influence from a number of DC Comics stories, with Jim Lee’s art and the Killing Joke story arc acting as templates for the look of the characters, and tone of the game.
