With Funko releasing dozens upon dozens of movie Marvel POP Vinyls every year, you might think that they’ve covered every single major super-powered character in the MCU at this point. And, well… they have, really. (We even have three versions of Civil War Crossbones, who has about two minutes of screentime!) But while almost every character has been done, that doesn’t mean that can’t be done better. And that’s just what Funko aims to do with their latest reveal: the jumbo Amazon Exclusive Funko 10” Giant-Man POP Vinyl is now up for order!

Just about two years, I was running all around time trying to track down the then-biggest Marvel POP Vinyl in the land, the “Super-Sized” Funko POP Giant-Man 6” figure that had been a particularly poorly-kept secret prior to Captain America Civil War hitting theaters.

Admittedly, that figure didn’t feel very “giant”, as it was only two inches larger than the typical Marvel POPs. But hey, beggars can’t be choosers, right…?

Well—looks like we can now! Because at long last, a truly large Funko Giant-Man POP Vinyl that dwarfs the old six inch version (shown above) is coming our way!

While Funko hit almost every important base with their POP Ant-Man and the Wasp Figures series last year (we even got Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer Janet Van Dyne figures!), conspicuously absent was the most conspicuous of Scott Lang’s identities: the mighty Giant Man.

With Ant-Man and the Wasp released in theaters over half a year ago now, it seemed like hopes were slim for any expansion of the line to occur and give us this highly-requested upgrade. But in a surprise move this week, not only was a new 10” Giant-Man POP Vinyl (taller than two and a half regular 3.75” POPs!) announced—but he immediately went up for pre-orders!

With a more dynamic pose and more paint deco and sculpting detail, I can see this figure quickly causing a flood of the old 6″ version being dumped onto ebay to make room for this one.

The 10” Giant-Man POP Vinyl is an Amazon exclusive now up for order for $29.99, and is scheduled to ship out on March 1st 2019. Given the size and exclusive nature of this particular figure, I think the price is really fair here—they could have easily sold this as a $50 limited con exclusive that would have skyrocketed in value, so I’m happy paying a reasonable price and ordering the Scott I’ve been waiting for from the comfort of my couch.
