In the 1994 film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, the aquatic mascot from the Miami Dolphins is stolen from their stadium. They call in an eccentric “Pet Detective” named Ace Ventura to investigate the disappearance of the beloved dolphin. As the investigation goes on, all signs point to disgraced former Dolphins punter Ray Finkle as the culprit. Looking to find clues to Finkle’s motives and whereabouts, Ace goes undercover as an incoming patient to Shady Acres.
