Kids LOVE Five Nights at Freddy’s. Kids also LOVE squishy things. So combining the two is a no-brainer. Which is just what  Just Toys did.

Distributed in the United States via UCC Distributing, Just Toys’ Five Nights at Freddy’s SquishMes are, surprisingly, NOT a blind bagged assortment. Instead each counter display holds 24 foil bags that you can actually see the character inside! As much fun as mystery packs are, it’s nice to see a series every once in awhile where you know exactly what you’re getting.

There are eight (8) Five Nights at Freddy’s characters to collect, including Freddy Fazbear himself, Golden Freddy, Toy Chica, Chica’s Cupcake, Toy Bonnie, Foxy, Marionette, and a stack of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza boxes.

As the name implies, each SquishMe is very squishy. Not firm like a stress ball, but far more foam-like, similar to kinetic sand. Remarkably, each SquishMe slowly inflates right back into shape after each mashing.

On top of their fun squishiness (that a word?!), each SquishMe is scented! There’s no mentioning of their smell on the packaging, but I immediately got a whiff when I opened them up. Believe it or not, their scent isn’t Five Nights at Freddy’s-themed or outlandish (such as pepperoni pizza or wet dog hair). Each SquishMe actually has a delightful strawberry/vanilla aroma to them. Perhaps them smelling sweet is the shock value? It was certainly unexpected.

And there you have it: Five Nights at Freddy’s characters that you can collect, squish and snort. If that doesn’t sound like fun, I dunno what fun is.
